Abstract:

The structure of the adult ulna is distinct compared to other long bones documented in the literature. However, to the best of our knowledge, the dorsal angulation of the proximal ulna has not been thoroughly detailed. When utilizing modern straight pre-contoured ulnar plates, recognizing the proximal ulna dorsal angulation (PUDA) becomes a crucial anatomical reference for surgeons managing proximal ulna fractures, nonunions, malunions, or performing osteotomies.
